I love your “chefs and their spoons”
If you are looking for a new one I think I’d be the crowning jewel! I’m a pro chef who years ago set out on a quest to get someone to make me a spoon made out of Damascus steel. When I first set out on my quest everyone thought I was nuts, maybe I am? Anyway 5 years later I have 4 spoons from 3 different makers, and I seem to have started a trend as 2 new knife makers have contacted me about making some. It appears that there are more crazy chefs out there who are willing to shell out $300.00++ for a spoon. No one will argue that I’m the originator of the “Damascus spoon” on the online forums ” knife forum” and “kitchen knife forum” (links below) I go by the name Chef Niloc (Colin backwards) there are many threads regarding me and my Damascus spoons.
