Join Grant Kessler and Cleetus Friedman to get inspired about these terrific tools!
Plug in to any or all of our four part workshop series:
- Session One will cover the nuts and bolts of using Facebook, setting up and administrating a Page properly, posting, liking other Pages and posting from your phone.
- Session Two will cover Twitter use, how to set up and manage an account, how to follow people, reply, mention, shrink links and the use of hashtags.
- Session Three covers strategic use of social media tools to market your business. Learn social media etiquette and how to create networks to promote yourself beyond your own followers.
- Session Four covers use of Hootsuite, a social media dashboard tool to manage your accounts, schedule posts, search and follow topics and engage potential new customers.
Grant Kessler uses social media to promote his own photography business and blog site, MyFoodshed, and has experience managing multiple social media accounts for FamilyFarmed and the Good Food Festivals, driving ticket sales, promoting events and keeping followers updated on food news and policy info. He has also done social media consulting for Harvest Moon Organic Farm, Food Patriots and others.
Cleetus Friedman is chef and owner of City Provisions Delicatessen & Catering company in Ravenswood. Cleetus promotes his business with a comprehensive social media strategy on Twitter and Facebook.
Sessions take place at City Provisions on Monday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm.
